Job summary

Intone Inc. is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support an Investments Data Platform initiative on a 12-month contract, based in Holmdel, NJ.

You will partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to capture, analyze, and translate complex investment data requirements into scalable technology solutions. You will drive data integration, automation, and reporting capabilities across the platform, collaborating with data engineers, platform teams, and QA to ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in investment/data domain
Strong understanding of investment data concepts (securities, trades, portfolios, asset classes, ratings)
Hands-on Jira experience (features, epics, user stories, backlog management)
Strong data analysis skills using SQL, Excel, or similar tools
Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments

Responsibilities

Gather and document business requirements for investment data initiatives
Translate workflows into functional specs, data mappings, and system requirements
Analyze holdings, trades, pricing, and ratings data for solution design
Define data lineage and traceability across ingestion to consumption
Create and manage Jira features, epics, and user stories
Collaborate with data engineers, platform teams, and architects to ensure alignment with system design
Define test scenarios with QA and execute UAT test cases
Coordinate with business users to ensure completeness and accuracy
