Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Brokerage Service Representative to support Self-Directed and CAC clients via phone as part of the Investment Client Care team. The role is on-site with location options in Charlotte, NC; Orlando, FL; and Atlanta, GA, focusing on timely, accurate client service for brokerage accounts.

You will handle inquiries, process forms and transfers, and maintain regulatory knowledge while collaborating with financial advisors to support client outcomes.

Qualifications

  • FINRA Series 7 & Series 63 or 66 required; may obtain during employment
  • Proficient written and verbal communication
  • Proficient with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office)
  • Two+ years of call center or high-volume environment
  • Experience with brokerage and digital applications such as WealthScape, Advisor Desktop, Cashiering, SNAP, Channelink
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide service support via phone to self-directed brokerage clients and advisor accounts
  • Develop product knowledge and client service skills
  • Research account and transaction records to resolve discrepancies
  • Conduct outbound client calls for follow-up and resolution
  • Assist clients with investment forms, transfers, and distributions
  • Answer questions about tax documents, trade confirmations and statements
  • Be the contact for Digital Investment platform questions (WealthScape)
  • Refer opportunities to Client Advisory Center when suitable
  • Maintain knowledge of FINRA regulations and continuing education
  • Advocate for clients while balancing risk

This is an on-site position.

Location options are Charlotte, NC; Orlando, FL; Atlanta, GA.

Brokerage Service Representatives are a part of Investment Client Care (ICC) which acts as the service support team for Self-Directed, Centralized Advisor Center (CAC) assigned and Signature Advantage brokerage clients via phone.

Teammates are responsible for answering client inquiries with a professional attitude and manner while adhering to measurable departmental goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • 1. Provide service support via phone to self-directed brokerage clients as well as Financial Advisor assigned account holders, referring more complex issues to management for guidance and/or resolution.
  • 2. Proficient understanding of product knowledge and continuously developing client service skills.
  • 3. Research account and transaction records to resolve discrepancies, answer questions or provide documentation on client activities.
  • 4. Conduct outbound client calls as a follow up and resolution to inquiries.
  • 5. Assist clients with completing investment forms, transferring funds, and completing distributions.
  • 6. Answer inquiries related to tax documents, trade confirmations, and monthly investment statements.
  • 7. Act as priority contact number for assisting clients with questions regarding the Digital Investment platform (currently WealthScape - future Scivantage).
  • 8. Refer investment opportunities to internal Client Advisory Center when aligns with clients financial needs.
  • 9. Maintain knowledge of industry regulations related to products and continuing education requirements required by FINRA.
  • 10. Serve as an advocate of the client while balancing risk.
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • 1. Hold FINRA Series 7 & Series 63 or 66 and maintain continuing education coursework to keep licenses in good standing. (Candidates will be considered if they have at least 1 of the required licenses and can obtain the additional licenses during employment)
  • 2. Proficiency in written and verbal communications
  • 3. Proficient using basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • 4. Two or more years of call center experience or high volume, fast paced work environment
  • 5. Experience with brokerage and digital applications such as WealthScape, Advisor Desktop, Cashiering, SNAP, and Channelink
  • 6. High school diploma or equivalent certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1. Bachelor's degree in relevant banking/business field
  • 2. Two or more years of Investment Industry knowledge and/or experience
  • 3. Additional FINRA and Insurance Licenses
