Job summary

BMO Capital Markets is seeking an Investment Banking Summer Analyst for a 10-week program designed for undergraduates between their junior and senior years. You’ll be assigned to a product or industry group and participate in a training and orientation program, with networking and mentoring throughout the summer.

The program serves as an initial interviewing step for the full-time Investment Banking program. Strong analytical skills, leadership, and a keen interest in finance are essential.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, graduating in Dec. 2028 or Spring 2029
• Interest in investment banking
• Outstanding academic achievement with GPA of 3.4/4.0 or higher
• Demonstrated leadership attributes in work, school, or community
• Excellent analytic, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills used within a demanding team environment
• Demonstrated proactivity and resiliency with a positive attitude
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require sponsorship in the future

Responsibilities

• Conducting industry and company research and analysis
• Developing client presentations
• Writing internal and external marketing memoranda
• Running valuation analysis, financial analysis and completing complex modeling exercises
• Performing other tasks supporting client relationships and business development
