Job summary

Spectrum Search Group is assisting a family‑owned investment bank in Dallas with a confidential search for an Associate to run live deals in energy M&A. You will build detailed financial models, perform valuations, and prepare client materials while mentoring analysts and maintaining direct client contact.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in Investment Banking or a related field, energy exposure preferred, and a strong foundation in accounting, finance, and valuation methodologies.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or a strong M&A platform.
• Energy / E&P exposure preferred or readiness to specialize in energy M&A.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Solid accounting and finance foundation with ability to learn valuation methods.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
