Job summary

Capital One is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst for the 2027 Capital Markets, Financing Development Program. This two-year career accelerator provides hands-on training across Debt & Equity Capital Markets, structured products, and related advisory services.

Qualifications

Major in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Data Science
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Exceptional quantitative, analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
Knowledge of general accounting and finance principles
Passion for the financial markets and the economy
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and dynamic environment

Responsibilities

Create client marketing presentations, memoranda, and other materials
Develop an in depth understanding of investment banking products and services
Conduct industry and market research
Prepare and analyze historical and projected financial performance
Assist in the preparation of valuation models
Work closely with Capital One’s relationship bankers and Underwriting teams to provide Capital Markets insight and deepen the product and/or advisory suite for their clients
