Job summary

Baird is seeking an Associate to drive execution of public equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory for diverse industries. You will collaborate with senior bankers and clients to craft valuations, models, and presentation materials, leveraging AI tools and Power BI for data-driven insights.

You will gain ownership through lean deal teams, mentorship, and exposure to leadership decisions in a high-performance, collaborative culture at Baird.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of full-time experience in a solution-focused financial or quantitative role; Investment Banking preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a track record of delivering results.
• Clear communication, leadership and collaboration in high-performing teams.
• Experience with AI tools and data visualization to support client materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in executing public equity offerings, M&A, and strategic advisory across sectors.
• Prepare company valuations, financial models, marketing materials, and client decks.
• Contribute to business development through research and analysis.
• Work with senior bankers and executives, gaining leadership-level insights.
• Utilize AI tools (Rogo, CoPilot, auxi) and Power BI for pitch books and data-driven reports.
