  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • FINRA Series 79 or Series 7 strongly preferred (required within 90 days).

Role Overview

GLC Advisors is seeking a top-tier Investment Banking Associate to join its Gaming advisory franchise in Denver. This position is intended for candidates with exceptional technical ability, sound judgment, and a demonstrated interest in executing complex transactions in a lean, performance-driven environment.

The Gaming practice advises across the full interactive entertainment and gaming ecosystem, including gaming technology and software, payments and infrastructure, land-based gaming and entertainment, iGaming, sports betting, and lodging. The team regularly serves as a trusted advisor to industry leaders, growth-oriented companies, and sophisticated financial sponsors on high-profile strategic and financial transactions.

Associates are expected to function as core execution leaders on live mandates, working directly with senior bankers and clients. The role offers substantial responsibility, early client exposure, and meaningful influence over transaction outcomes.

Responsibilities

Associates will assume significant ownership across all phases of transaction execution, including:

  • Leading the analytical and execution workstreams for M&A, financing, and restructuring assignments
  • Working directly with clients, counterparties, and legal and accounting advisors to advance transactions from mandate through closing
  • Overseeing and mentoring Analysts while ensuring the highest standards of analytical rigor and presentation quality
  • Developing detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials used in board-level and investor discussions
  • Conducting in-depth industry, company, and strategic analyses to support advisory recommendations
  • Participating in management presentations, due diligence processes, and negotiation discussions

Qualifications

GLC Advisors seeks candidates with a demonstrated record of excellence, including:

  • Outstanding analytical capability, intellectual curiosity, and professional judgment
  • Prior investment banking experience as an Analyst or Associate strongly preferred
  • 2–4 years of relevant transaction experience in M&A, capital markets, or restructuring
