Job summary

The Consumer Retail group (CRG) advises clients in the consumer and retail sectors on various financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts (LBOs), equity / equity‑linked and debt financings, joint ventures, restructurings, activism defense and financial investments. Key sub‑sectors in Consumer Retail include Food & Beverage, Beauty & Personal Care, Branded Consumer Durables, Apparel, Restaurants, Grocery Retailers & Convenience Stores, Hardlines & Specialty Retailers, etc.

Role Responsibilities

Our Associates play an important role in developing and strengthening our client relationships, participating on our advisory teams and in structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions. Their responsibilities include creating and analyzing financial models, organizing and preparing client presentations, helping manage transaction processes, and assisting in structuring transactions. They will gain exposure to the firm's businesses and expand their knowledge of the investment banking industry, as they develop key analytical, communications and marketing skills. From maintaining client communication to helping Goldman Sachs structure client transactions, our Associates are a vital part of Goldman Sachs' banking team's investments.

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' investment banking or equivalent experience

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $150000-$225000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
