Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-generated analyses and ensure the underlying numbers balance and make sense. You will trace three-statement linkages, assess DCF assumptions, and write judgments that model what defensible finance work looks like.

You’ll work with real corporate scenarios, expose faulty drivers, and craft transparent explanations for CFO-grade conclusions, with flexible, remote project-based work.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Job description

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.

Compensation

Up to $40 – $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k–$100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
