Northern Trust Corp seeks an Investment Associate II to join its Wealth Management Investment Practice in Chicago. The role supports Portfolio Advisors with portfolio reviews, market outlooks and client communications, ensuring timely and accurate materials and action items.

The successful candidate will assist on compliance tasks, follow-up items, and special projects while growing their expertise in GDWM and the firm’s investment philosophy, tools, and client service standards.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of financial markets and investments.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel, with data analysis skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing portfolio review and market outlook materials for client meetings.
• Process and track compliance-related duties and documentation.
• Monitor and follow up on corporate actions and account items.
• Support portfolio advisors in client communications and data gathering.
• Assist in GDWM client presentations and scenario planning.
