Job summary

University of Massachusetts Foundation invites applications for an Investment Officer to join a small, collaborative team within the Foundation's Investment Office. The role focuses on managing approximately $2.5 billion in assets across a diversified multi-asset portfolio and supporting endowment stewardship.

Reporting to the CIO, the officer will monitor managers, evaluate new opportunities, and contribute to portfolio construction and risk analysis to deliver superior, risk-adjusted returns

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant post-graduate experience in investment management, consulting, banking or a related field.
• Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated interest in investing and financial markets.
• The highest level of integrity, honesty, and a strong sense of fiduciary duty.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
• Collaborative and team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build credibility across internal and external relationships.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
