Job summary

FM Investments offers an internship program exposing interns to Equities, Fixed Income and Alternatives with mentorship from Investments team. Interns will participate in equity or credit analysis, portfolio management analytics, and develop investment management reports.

Candidates will collaborate on project deliverables, engage in market and portfolio analytics, and build screens with Bloomberg experts while developing research across asset classes.

Qualifications

• Progress toward an advanced degree with strong academic record.
• Strong quantitative skills and proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Highly curious and willing to challenge standard thinking.
• Experience with Bloomberg and FactSet is a plus.
• Strong quantitative mindset and interest in investment management.

Responsibilities

• Engage in various investment projects across asset classes and disciplines - Equities, Fixed Income, Alternatives, Asset Allocation and Operations
• Equity or Credit analysis of a security or sector
• Portfolio management investment and risk analytics - total portfolio and by asset class
• Developing investment management reports by asset class
• Weekly / monthly / quarterly markets and portfolio analytics packet for Equities and Fixed Income
• Working with Investments team members and Bloomberg subject matter experts to build broad markets and asset class-based screens
• Industry research analysis in support of the broader investment portfolio
• Other Investments and Operations related projects
