Job description

The Investor Relations Consultant supports Alternative Fund Services by leading high-quality investor servicing across a portfolio of alternative investment clients. The role combines day-to-day operational ownership with client relationship management, ensuring fund and investor activity—including subscriptions, redemptions, capital activity, cash management, NAV-related entries, and account updates—is processed accurately, promptly, and in line with established controls.

As the principal contact for assigned clients, the incumbent resolves inquiries, coordinates with internal teams, reviews and signs off investor transactions, addresses outstanding KYC/AML documentation, and produces client, regulatory, board, tax, and audit reporting. A central expectation is to remain audit ready, identify and mitigate risk, and improve processes to increase accuracy, eliminate redundancy, and strengthen service delivery.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate brings four to five years of relevant financial-services experience—preferably in fund administration, hedge funds, or private equity—and a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
  • Success requires strong client-service orientation, precise execution, sound risk judgment, clear communication, resilience under pressure, independent follow-through, and effective collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and a relevant master’s degree are preferred, as well as experience leveraging AI and Alteryx.

Full-time employees (working an average of 30 hours or more) are eligible to select from different benefits packages.

  • medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match (available after 1 year of employment)
  • commuter benefits
  • employee discount and referral programs
  • life and supplemental income insurance

Paid sick leave is provided in accordance with applicable state and local laws.
