Shelter Insurance Companies in Missouri seeks an Investment Analyst to join the portfolio team responsible for managing $6.5 billion of insurance and pension assets.
You will research, analyze and prepare investment reports across fixed income, public equity and alternative investments, ensuring data accuracy and contributing to portfolio monitoring and diligence.

Research, analyze and prepare investment reports as key member of team responsible for managing $6.5 billion of insurance and pension assets. Ensure accuracy of transaction and reporting data on one or more asset classes, including fixed income, public equity and alternative investments. Participate in monitoring internally managed assets and external managers across asset classes. Active participant in prospective research and diligence of new investment opportunities.
Prepare various reports and analyses for presentation to Investment Committee. Develop analytical reports, maintain accuracy of various files and records systems related to the Companies' portfolios. Suggest monitoring process improvements and proactively seek to implement them. Execute approved purchase and sale transactions. Prepare information and reports for regulators, auditors and other internal departments as required.
