Job summary

OakworthTalent is seeking an Investment Analyst to assist the Wealth team with various projects and analyses, coordinating strategies with leadership, portfolio managers, and client advisors. This role includes oversight on trades and portfolio rebalancing.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or a related field, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate professionalism while managing confidential information. The position offers an opportunity to grow within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, or a related area of study is required.
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training is preferred.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Acute attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Summary:

The Investment Analyst will assist the Wealth team on a wide variety of projects and analyses, including strategy, data gathering/inquiry, and reporting. This role works closely with Wealth Leadership, Portfolio Managers, Client Advisors, and Client Support across all markets to ensure a coordinated approach to serving our clients.

Key Roles / Responsibilities:
  • Point of contact for executing trades throughout the organization
  • Own the process of rebalancing portfolios
  • Analyze portfolios to ensure suitability
  • Create and disseminate internal investment communications
  • Assist in the creation of client meeting materials and proposals
Responsibility Details:
  • Manage the daily oversight for Black Diamond.
  • Own and manage internal Investment Committee meetings, including management of meeting minutes.
  • Analyze individual investments to ensure suitability.
  • Participate in client meetings occasionally.
  • Work with Wealth Leadership to foster continual improvement, encouraging new ideas and implementing best practices.
