As an Investment Advisor II within PNC's Private Bank Connect organization, you will be based in Cleveland, OH, Baltimore, MD, Mechanicsburg, PA, Dallas, TX, Phoenix, AZ, or any other Private Bank location.

The Investment Advisor II is responsible for managing client investment portfolios and helping clients identify and achieve their financial goals. This includes designing and implementing investment strategies using PNC's best thinking, while maintaining portfolios that are appropriately positioned to help clients meet their objectives over time.

A key responsibility of the role is ongoing portfolio management, including monitoring investment performance, managing portfolio risk, and ensuring compliance-related items are addressed accurately and in a timely manner. The Investment Advisor serves as a trusted advisor to clients through regular communication and proactive engagement, with established monthly client contact expectations. The vast majority of the client interaction in Private Bank Connect is via virtual delivery. Mainly telephone conversations and video meetings via Microsoft Teams.

This is a direct client-facing role focused on both retaining existing assets under management and growing client relationships. Investment Advisors are expected to increase assets under management within their book of business through self-sourced opportunities, referrals from teammates, and partnerships with other business lines across PNC Bank.

Success in this role requires strong collaboration within a team-based environment. Investment Advisors work closely with Banking Advisors, Relationship Strategists, Investment Associates, and Portfolio Administrators to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions and an exceptional client experience.

Job Description
  • Manages accounts in accordance with investment objectives that have been developed with the client.
  • Responsible for delivering the PNC investment experience to clients, providing actionable advice, market insight and reporting on investment results. Is beginning to demonstrate knowledge of investment and asset management strategies.
  • Responsible for maintaining and growing assets under management. Additionally, is an active participant in the sales efforts of the business through the introduction and expansion of financial services to the client.
  • Executes risk management practices through the adherence to PNC's policies and procedures.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $86,250.00 - $172,500.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
