The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Public Protection Cabinet, Dept of Alcoholic Beverage Control, is hiring an Investigator II in Frankfort to enforce alcohol and tobacco laws and conduct complex investigations. You will manage evidence handling, prepare documentation, and testify in court as needed.

Qualified candidates must hold POPS certification, possess a valid driver's license, be able to carry a firearm, and be prepared for overtime work. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Four years of investigative law enforcement experience.
• POPS certification maintained in good standing.
• Valid driver's license and ability to carry a firearm.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct complex and sensitive investigations involving alcohol/tobacco laws and court preparation.
• Oversee evidence submissions, chain of custody, and labeling per standards.
• Assist training curricula and certify personnel for required certifications.
• Complete daily activity reports and administrative paperwork for assignments.
• Testify in administrative and criminal proceedings and supervise tobacco inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
