Job summary

Aladdin-Bail-Bonds is seeking a Bail Enforcement Agent to conduct complex field investigations, plan and coordinate fugitive recovery, and operate under general supervision in a flexible schedule that may include weekends and travel.

Responsibilities include apprehending defendants, transporting and booking them, and coordinating with various agencies while maintaining documentation and evidence for legal processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have or qualify to possess a Washington state concealed weapons permit.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid Bail Enforcement license for Washington.

Responsibilities

• Apprehend defendants, sometimes using physical force.
• Transport defendants and book them into the correct jail.
• Conduct investigations of forfeited company bail bonds.
• Review information, generate leads, and conduct thorough investigations and field interviews.
• Identify, contact, and interview potential sources of information.
• Prepare, evaluate, summarize, and document investigative findings into case notes.
• Submit legal documentation to company legal representatives for further process.
• Conduct surveillance of individuals or locations pertinent to investigations.
• Interact with municipal, state, federal, and private organizations.
• Work well as part of a team or independently as cases dictate.
• Keep supervisor informed of ongoing activities.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Be prepared to travel to multiple states and work weekends; flexible hours.
• May be exposed to chemical agents.
• Must have valid driver's license with good driving record.

The Bail Enforcement Agent will perform complex field investigations involving the planning and coordination of fugitive recovery. He/she will work under general supervision. He/she will also be expected to display initiative and, when necessary, make sound decisions independently. Employees are expected to work on weekends as dictated by caseload or as deemed necessary by a supervisor. Some periodic travel should be expected.

Essential duties include but not limited to:

Apprehend defendants, at times using physical force. Transport defendants and book them into the correct jail.

Conduct investigations of forfeited company bail bonds.

Review, verify information. Generate leads and conduct through investigations and field interviews.

Identifies, contacts and interviews potential sources of information.

Prepares, evaluates,summarizesand documents investigative findings into case notes withincompanywideinternal computer database.

Prepares andsubmitslegal documentation to company legal representatives for further legal process.

Conduct surveillance of individuals or locationsdeemedpertinent to investigations.

May interact andestablishworking relationships with variousmunicipals, state,federaland private organizations.

Ability to function as a productive member of a team and work individually when case dictates.

Keeps supervisor appropriately informed of ongoing activities and other mattersaffectingoperations.

Adheres to all company policies and procedures and performs work as assigned.

Must be prepared to travel to multiple states and work possible weekends.Must be able to work flexible hours as case dictates.
