Job summary

American Structurepoint, Inc in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an entry-level Staff Engineer for our Investigative/Forensic Engineering Group. You will work both in the field and office, joining senior engineers to investigate damaged buildings, assess structural conditions, and design repair solutions.

You will contribute to technical reports and use AutoCAD and Revit to create drawings and models, gaining mentorship and opportunity for growth in a dynamic team focused on restoring and preserving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred
• FE Certification (E.I.T.) or working toward it is preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transportation to office/sites
• Strong work ethic and growth mindset; eager to learn and take initiative
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs, climb ladders/scaffolding, work at heights
• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with Civil/Structural Engineering degree

American Structurepoint’s Investigative/Forensic Engineering Group is seeking an entry-level Staff Engineer in Indianapolis, IN! In this role, you will spend time working both in the field and in the office – Investigating damaged buildings, assessing structural conditions, and designing repair solutions. You’ll work alongside licensed engineers and architects, contribute to technical reports, and use tools like AutoCAD and Revit to create drawings and models.

• Help design solutions to repair or restore real-world structures made of wood, masonry, concrete, and steel

• Contribute to technical reports that document your findings and support project decisions

• Use AutoCAD and/or Revit to create digital drawings and 3D models that bring design ideas to life
• Other tasks as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Recent or soon-to-be graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program (other degrees may be considered with relevant experience)

• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred

• FE Certification (E.I.T.) or working towards it is preferred

• A valid driver’s license and a reliable person vehicle for transportation to and from the office or project sites
