Job summary

Sinclair, Inc. seeks an enterprising reporter to join its investigative and consumer reporting team. You will dig for stories, research rigorously, write with an edge, and use TV storytelling to make investigations impactful and memorable.

You will build sources, pitch investigative angles, and collaborate with Producers to refine story scripts while maintaining a strong online and social media presence. Prior award-winning reporting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to develop and maintain sources.
• Dynamic live television and storytelling skills are a must.
• Strong social media skillset for both research and promoting stories.
• Knowledge of the FOIA process, computer-assisted reporting, and data-driven reporting with familiarity of legal issues.
• Strong writing skills and knowledge of current events.
• (insert years of experience needed) of investigative reporting experience preferred.
• History of award-winning investigative journalism preferred.
