Job summary

GBH, a Boston-based public media organization, invites a Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism graduate to join FRONTLINE as a one-year reporting fellow starting early 2027.

The fellow will work with our filmmaking teams on investigative documentaries, assisting with research, reporting, transcription, and contributing to broadcasts and digital stories.

This full-time, hybrid role is based in Boston with a salary of $70,000 plus benefits; housing is the candidate’s responsibility.

Qualifications

• This role requires graduates of the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
• Strong reporting, writing and fact-checking abilities are essential.
• Experience with investigative documentary production is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research, reporting, producing and fact-checking documentary films.
• Pitch, report, write and produce digital stories.
• Coordinate with digital video and social teams on future stories.
