U.S. Secret Service in Los Angeles seeks an Investigative Analyst to support Office of Field Operations. The role includes analyzing criminal activity, developing target profiles, and conducting protective intelligence research using official systems.
Responsibilities include reviewing data to develop leads, participating on anti-crime task forces, and drafting briefs for stakeholders while maintaining collaborative relationships with partners.
The selectee will serve as a Investigative Analyst in the Office of Field Operations, Los Angeles Field Office. Typical work assignments include: Conducting analysis of suspected criminal activities; developing target packets/profiles; and utilizing systems to perform protective intelligence research and criminal analysis. Identifying, analyzing, and extracting pertinent information from the investigative cases.
Reviewing and evaluating data, material, and documents to develop leads and case profiles. Participating as an active member on anti-crime task forces, providing criminal research and analytical assistance pertaining to on-going investigations. Drafting written documents and presenting research to applicable stakeholders and maintains ongoing collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
