Location is on-site in Northern Virginia with an anticipated start in Sept/Oct 2026 and a salary range of $140,000–$220,000 annually. Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, security clearance, and funding.

Qualifications

  • Entry Level: 0-2 years of specialized experience
  • Journeyman: 2-4 years of specialized experience
  • Full Performance: 4-6 years of specialized experience
  • Senior Level: 6-8 years of specialized experience
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): 8-12 years of specialized experience

Responsibilities

  • Conducts research and analysis to identify, assess, and document investigative leads related to personnel security, counterintelligence, cybersecurity, and insider threat matters.
  • Applies critical thinking and sound judgment to develop findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Produces well-written, concise, and accurate reports and communicates results to all levels of management in formats tailored to stakeholder needs.
  • Manages cases and competing priorities in fast-paced, technology-driven environments while working effectively both independently and within teams.
  • Demonstrates personal integrity, professionalism, and leadership that supports collaboration and respectful consensus building.

Job Summary

  • Anticipated Award: September/October 2026

  • Anticipated Start: September/October 2026

  • Period of Performance: 1 Base Year + 4 Option Years

  • Salary Range: $140,000 – $220,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, certifications, security clearance, and contract funding. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Education and Experience



  • Entry Level: 0-2 years of specialized experience

  • Journeyman: 2-4 years of specialized experience

  • Full Performance: 4-6 years of specialized experience

  • Senior Level: 6-8 years of specialized experience

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): 8-12 years of specialized experience


Desired Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.

  • Relevant certifications in programming and development, cloud and infrastructure, architecture and design, or other related networking, cybersecurity, or technology disciplines.


Security Clearance



  • Active TS/SCI with an FS Poly adjudicated within the last five (5) years
