Job summary

The Office of the Bronx District Attorney is seeking an Investigative Assistant District Attorney for the Financial Frauds Bureau to pursue sophisticated cybercrime and fraud investigations protecting Bronx County residents. You will prosecute cases, present evidence, and collaborate with investigators and fellow attorneys to advance fair justice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and NY Bar admission in good standing.
• US citizenship and NY residency required by start date.
• 3+ years of investigative and trial experience.
• Experience with long-term investigations and complex cases.
• Strong legal writing and ethical standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations.
• Organize and present grand jury presentations.
• Prosecute cases arising from investigations, including motions and discovery obligations.
• Engage in plea negotiations, hearings and trials.
• Maintain knowledge of investigative methods and applicable law.
• Coordinate with other law enforcement agencies.
