Qualifications

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician registration.
• 3 years of progressively responsible pharmacy technician work, including 1 year lead duties.
• USP797/800 sterile compounding experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the IDS Pharmacists in daily operations, including startup, closeout, and record keeping.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of investigational drugs per policy and standards.
• Maintain and archive drug receipts, accountability, dispensing, returns and disposition records.
• Record temperature monitoring; generate electronic reports and manage excursions.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment; keep records up to date.
• Schedule study visits to prioritize workflow and dispensing activities.
• Use EHR, CTMS, and related systems; assist with site visits and document gathering.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and externs; provide feedback for evaluations.
• Train staff and research teams; assess workflow and assignments.
