Job summary

MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician with an active Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) registration and at least one year of experience. The role supports investigational drug services, ensuring safe handling, preparation, dispensing, and regulatory compliance for clinical trials.

The position requires strong accuracy, organizational skills, and a patient-focused approach as you assist patients through treatment.

Qualifications

• Must have active Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) registration.
• Pharmacy technician with hospital/infusion/retail or specialty setting experience.
• PTCB certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year of pharmacy technician experience in relevant settings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains investigational drug accountability with daily audits and inventory management.
• Tracks returns, replacements, and expiring inventory; quarantines unusable stock.
• Maintains regulatory documentation including shipment receipts and iDATA records.
• Other duties as assigned.
