Job summary

Western Sugar Cooperative is seeking an Assistant Storekeeper in Billings, MT. The role oversees inventory control for the factory, warehouse, and Ag departments, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. You will drive safety initiatives while handling purchasing, receiving, and stock management in SAP.

The position requires a High School diploma, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to multitask in a collaborative team environment. forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong math skills with basic accounting understanding.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Be a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated leadership.
• Manage chemical inventory and orders.
• Unload orders from vendor trucks.
• Handle storeroom functions—purchasing, purchase orders, work orders, inventory, min/max levels and consumables.
• Receive parts and materials into SAP; stock parts and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
