CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy is seeking an Inventory Professional to efficiently manage supplies and equipment and maintain optimal stock levels. Daily tasks include receiving, stocking, issuing, and tracking inventory using the hospital's management systems.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with inventory software to support cost control and operational efficiency.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of supply chain related experience or equivalent.
• Alternative experience acceptable upon hire if no formal degree exists.
• General education requirements align with job duties.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, stock, issue and track inventory to maintain optimal levels.
• Perform counts, reconcile discrepancies and process orders via management systems.
• Restock daily and rotate supplies, monitoring par levels for accuracy.
• Distribute supplies to patient care areas while preventing stockouts.
• Identify excess inventory and process credits or returns.
• Maintain clean, labeled stock locations and update pars as needed.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As an Inventory Professional, you will efficiently and accurately manage supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels.

Every day you will receive, stock, issue, and track inventory, performing counts, reconciling discrepancies, processing orders, and utilizing management systems.

To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in inventory software, crucial for operational efficiency and cost control.

• Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed
• Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas, while monitoring par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care
• Identified excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits
• Notifies supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory
• Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items; issues and credits materials from the inventory management system
• Responsible for maintaining clean and orderly stock locations, and labeling bins and handling requests to change pars

Pay Range

$15.67 - $22.14 /hour
