Job summary

Retail Services WIS Corporation seeks an Inventory Supervisor for its Travel Team to lead and train staff, supervise inventory events, and travel with the team weekly to client locations across the region.

The role emphasizes strong communication, customer service, and ability to manage schedules and safety while supporting the Area or District Manager. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience as an Inventory Associate or similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong time management.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Valid driver's license for at least 36 consecutive months.
• Minimum of three years of proven driving experience.
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks including MVR.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation to locations.
• Flexible availability including early mornings and late nights.

WIS Inventory Supervisor Travel Job Preview

The Travel Team Inventory Supervisor works with a select big box retailer and provides focused inventory solutions for their unique business. The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the leading and ongoing training of our Inventory Associates and the supervision of Inventory Events. The Inventory Supervisor is the first point of contact to resolve any event concerns in support of and at the direction of the Area Manager or District Manager and drive operational excellence through maximizing our employee’s productivity and growing the team through engagement. Inventory Supervisors assist and direct employees with daily tasks and interact with customers to ensure exceptional service. The Inventory Supervisor will travel with the team weekly to customer locations across their region. Position Requirements

• Must be 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Inventory Associate or similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong time-management skills
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills focused on providing solutions when faced with challenges
• Must possess a valid driver’s license within the state of residence for a minimum of 36 consecutive months
• A minimum of three (3) years proven driving experience
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, pre-employment screening and MVR check in accordance with company standards
• Familiarity with GPS devices and how to navigate to assigned locations
• Availability to work flexible schedules with varying hours in support of the District Manager and customer commitments, this includes very early mornings and/or late nights

This position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time; the ability to use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions; the ability to frequently be in low level positions, such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching; the ability to frequently use a ladder; the ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs. The supervisor must have the ability to frequently travel via car and airplane, including regular overnight stays.
