The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the inventory function for the production and/or warehouse facility. Direct supervisor over inventory clerks and coordinators.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Sunday through Thursday
• 4:00am start
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Position Responsibilities

• Submit request for materials, prepare purchase orders, track purchases and supplies
• Schedule incoming and outgoing shipments both intercompany and external suppliers
• Work with operations team to review inventory strategies for maximum efficiencies
• Manage damage and returned product
• Monitor Inventory expiration dates for obsolesce avoidance and provide corrective action.
• Manage distressed inventory and short dated product
• Responsible for inventory/material dispositions
• Monitor completeness, accuracy, and compliance during inventory transactions.
• Oversee purchase orders, data entry, and shipping and receiving of materials
• Lead and supervise inventory team, resolving problems, conducting training and setting schedules.
• Track, audit, and ensure adequate supply of inventory throughout the organization.
• Lead the planning/organization of physical inventories
• Act as a liaison to other departments (Systems/Purchasing/Production)
• Communicate with production team about current stock and potential issues with orders
• Conduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory issues
• Report on inventory activities and variances
• Conduct and report on inventory cycle counts
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
• Confidence, integrity and an autonomous mindset with the ability to work independently and strive to win, even in challenging environments
• Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions and calibrate instrumentation
• Team-player attitude with well-developed interpersonal skills and comfort in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment.

Total Rewards

• $70,000- $80,000 / year
• Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
