Job summary

ODW Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Supervisor in Fort Worth, TX to coordinate daily inventory activities, lead the team, and ensure accurate records and timely adjustments for customers.

Responsibilities include taking physical inventories, handling holds and recalls, and improving workflow with established procedures and performance metrics shared with the customer. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics or 5+ years in inventory leadership, strong WMS

Job description

The Inventory Supervisor position holds the responsibility of coordinating and supervising the daily activities of the inventory team as well as monitoring the timely confirmation of adjustments, maintaining accurate inventory records and customer correspondence.

• Coordinates, leads and performs the taking of physical inventories in accordance with ODW and customer requirements.
• Coordinates the activities associated with product HOLD recalls and damage.
• Coordinates damaged and defective products, ensuring it is accounted for and properly dispositioned.
• Creates and uses Metrics to manage day-to-day operations and communicates performance to the customer.
• Develops and implements purchasing and inventory control procedures and sequence of operations within department to optimize workflow With customers.
• Monitors order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy and customer contracts.
• Reviews weekly inventory trends and discusses variations with appropriate staff members and customer.
• Deals with supplier when serious variations arise in delivery, quality, price, or conditions.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics. (Required) or 5+ yrs. Inventory management leadership experience in an order fulfillment (pick, pack, and ship) environment, with a SKU base of over 5,000 SKU’s. (Required)
• Prior experience with web-based B2C, B2B, and B2DC fulfillment, including an in depth knowledge of parcel shipping requirements and programs. (Preferred)
• Experience in managing seasonal/promotional volume swings, from both an operational and staffing perspective.
• Strong background with WMS (Required).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite products.
• Ability to drive change.
• Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems. (Infios preferred)
• Strong analytical abilities coupled with superior team building skills.
• Experience with multi-shift operations.
• Effective decision making ability in a fast paced environment.
