Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a proactive Stock Associate to receive shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and organize stockrooms and off-site locations. You will support the sales team by replenishing the floor during peak times and recovery periods.

You will scan shipments, log merchandise, and ensure items are properly ticketed and stored. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of stockroom or customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years customer service experience preferred and stockroom (or related work) experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds with proper equipment and safety techniques.
• Experience maintaining orderly stockrooms and accurately logging merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and maintain inventory records.
• Scan shipments as delivered and stock merchandise in stockroom or for distribution to sales floor.
• Assist sales team in replenishing sales floor during recovery periods and peak times.
• Organize stockroom by department and categories; ensure aisles and exits are clear.
• Maintain stockroom cleanliness and safety; vacuum, sweep, and dispose of waste as needed.
• Pack and log merchandise for customer deliveries; transport between stockrooms and sales floors.
