Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in Austin, TX seeks an organized stockroom/receiving associate to receive shipments, maintain inventory records, and replenish the sales floor. You will scan shipments, ticket items, and organize stockrooms, while transporting merchandise to appropriate locations and keeping aisles clear.

We value attention to detail, customer service and teamwork. This role may require lifting up to 100 lbs and occasional help on the floor during peak periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years customer service experience preferred and stockroom (or related work) experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and accurately maintain inventory records.
• Maintain stockroom and off-site locations.
• Assist sales team in replenishing sales floor after shipment or during recovery periods.
• Scan shipment as delivered and ticket stock Merchandise.
• Organize stockroom by department and categories and stock merchandise on shelves or in offsite locations.
• Adjust stocking procedures to ensure aisles and exits are clear.
• Pack and log merchandise for customer deliveries when required.
• Transport merchandise to and from stockroom locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure stockroom is clean and organized; may assist on sales floor during peak times.
• Complete tasks listed on daily agenda and comply with company policies.
