Job summary

Gardner-White Furniture Inc. is seeking a reliable Stock Associate to help keep the store's inventory organized and ready for customers. The role involves maintaining the backroom and sales floor, receiving shipments, and assisting customers with inquiries.

Responsibilities include stocking and tagging merchandise, assisting with promotional displays, unloading trucks, and using our inventory system. Prior stockroom or warehouse experience is helpful, and a willingness to work nights, weekends,

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 100+ lbs with assistive devices.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Experience in stockroom/warehouse preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tagging and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock room cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of promotional displays, events, and projects, ensuring areas are clean and organized.
• Assist shuttle drivers with unloading trucks as needed.
• Assist with customer pick-ups as needed.
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, assembled, and displayed.
• Move new and existing merchandise to/from the floor.
• Use the scanning tool and GW's store inventory system for tagging and tracking (training provided).
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
