Job Description: Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist will play a vital role in the inventory program, overseeing processes and procedures for a large-volume, small-part inventory. The ideal candidate should be skilled in organizing extensive data and extracting key information, with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Tracking all inventory used by contractors for WIFI cable installation, including materials such as splitters, construction materials, vaults (for electrical wiring protection), markers, etc., on contractor sites—not in client warehouses. These sites may include buildings on a lot, some with small warehouses and dock doors.
  • Labeling and correctly placing inventory items.
  • Verifying stock information and unit identification numbers.
  • Auditing equipment and parts.
  • Unpacking, sorting, and staging units for production.
  • Receiving units using RF handheld devices.
  • Performing cycle counts and audits per company policies.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize workflow and work independently.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Computer and Excel skills are a plus.
