  • Project manage full inventory count events with guidance and instructions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels in SAP through timely and precise transactions, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  • Communicate cycle count results to all levels in the organization.
  • Perform root cause analysis on problem areas and discrepancies; submit corrective action beyond physical counts.
  • Track and record cycle counts.
  • Provide SAP training and support to cross‑functional teams as needed.
  • Identify and implement cost improvements and opportunities for inventory reductions.
  • Analyze inventory trends, identify excess or obsolete stock, and collaborate with stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing) to resolve issues.
  • Create and maintain SOPs and work instructions for inventory processes and SAP transactions.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, material traceability, and warehouse organization.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and safety standards.
  • Embrace IR tools to accomplish duties and drive continuous improvements.
  • Follow company safety procedures and standards to ensure individual and collective safety, avoiding unnecessary risk to oneself, co‑workers, contractors, customers, and property.
Requirements

  • 3+ years in inventory management within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • 1+ year solid understanding of inventory control methodologies like cycle counting, ABC classification, and FIFO/LIFO.
  • 1+ year hands‑on experience with SAP ERP (IM, MM, WM), comfortable managing inventory transactions and reporting.
  • 1+ year experience in Microsoft Excel with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working cross‑functionally with Procurement, Production, and Customer Experience teams to support smooth material flow and minimize disruptions.
  • Proven history supporting material planning and replenishment activities that ensures inventory accuracy and availability.
