Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC. is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage stock, track levels, and ensure efficient movement of goods across yard and facilities. You will coordinate with the supply chain and project teams to optimize purchasing, receiving, and safekeeping of materials.

The role requires DOT health card, forklift certification, and a clean driving record, with possible travel. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and room to grow within a safety-focused organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Must pass background check and drug tests.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to apply reasoning to carry out instructions.
• Knowledge of Internet software, database, spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Must maintain a current DOT health card certificate.
• Forklift certification.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Class A driver’s license preferred.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock with cycle counts, audits, reporting, and coordinating with supply chain teams.
• Issue POs and determine timing of material orders and purchase tracking.
• Maintain inventory organization at facilities.
• Order and coordinate project supplies to arrive on time and at the correct location.
• Receive and verify material shipments and contents.
• Handle and store new material shipments.
• Develop and create reporting for Min/Max levels, material demand, forecast and budget purposes.
• Manage inventory for specific jobs by staging materials from each job's pick list.
• Communicate inventory needs to the Supply Chain Manager.
• Ensure proper documentation of inventory by employees and subcontractors.
• Maintain location inventories via scanner and inventory system software.
• Coordinate physical inventory reconciliations and follow-up on discrepancies.
• Lead at-site for customer material requests and check outs.
• Deliver material to other locations or job sites as needed.
• Participate in and adhere to all Company Safety requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
