Job Summary

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels within the Inventory Management System. Greets and engages customers consistent with our Core Value of “Jump Over the Counter Service Excellence”.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs daily stock counts in the Inventory Management System to ensure product balance accuracy.
  • Maintains accurate inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving of product.
  • Reviews and completes all pending inventory transactions daily.
  • Communicates with store director on inventory levels; researches shortages and corrects shelf conditions.
  • Ensures product levels are maintained and replenished on shelves.
  • Maintains clean, safe and sanitary environment by adhering to safety procedures.
  • Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Provides friendly service—a greeting, answering questions and addressing complaints.
  • Assumes precautionary safety measures when using equipment and work tools.
  • Assists with other duties, including period and bi-annual inventory service counts.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Intermediate knowledge of backroom organization standards.
  • Basic knowledge of product placement.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) knowledge.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret information.
  • Ability to learn new technology systems, methods, and processes.
  • Ability to reason, form concepts, recognize and solve problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
  • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
  • Ability to maintain high accuracy and productivity.
  • Ability to use knives/box cutters.
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack/bailer.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Attentiveness to potential hazards, remedying or posting warning signs promptly.
  • Report unremedied hazards to supervisor.
Education, Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum 18 years of age.

Physical Demands

Occasionally required to push, pull, maneuver or lift up to 55lb.; frequently required to talk, hear, use hands for reaching, touch or handle; frequently required to bend, kneel or squat; continuously required to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception or focus; continuously required to use fine finger movements (e.g., sorting and typing); continuously required to stand or walk; attendance at work mandatory.

Work Context and Environment

Frequently exposed to extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather). Noise level varies. Work is generally performed in a retail store.
