Responsibilities:

• Open order maintenance: Orders and Special Orders
• Responsible for all functions of monitoring store and yard inventory levels
• Follows direction from the Buyers, who in turn answer directly to the Company Purchasing Manager
• Regular, accurate cycle counts
• Verify physical count and computer records
• Identify potential for loss due to storage, transport, abuse, etc.
• Identify potential errors in receiving, both in physical counts and in receiving (paperwork) procedures.
• Daily cycle count reports
• Aid in determining minimum stock levels and identifying when stock must be reordered, replaced, or deleted
• Stock inventory location coding throughout the store; keeping such tags accurate and up to date
• Verify committed quantities (already sold) vs. counts on hand
• Well Planned & Written goals
  • What do you want to accomplish today? (Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly)
• Other duties, as required
• Receiving Backup
  • Help cover when receiving inbound when needed (Physically and into the computer)
