Job summary

Marmon Holdings is seeking a warehouse associate in Grandview, MO to ensure accurate receipt and stocking of parts and to support assembly operations. You will count items, verify quality, and maintain organized inventory while following safety policies.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, stocking by part numbers, distribution to assembly stations, and performing various warehouse tasks under supervision. Previous forklift experience is a plus, and a clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• At least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Must be highly organized, self-motivated and have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and verify quantity and quality.
• Count and sort items as they are unloaded from trucks.
• Stock parts by number and organize inventory.
• Assist with picking and delivering materials to assembly stations.
• Back up other warehouse areas as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Report discrepancies to supervisors.

• Ensures accurate and timely receipt of parts; accurately places incoming parts in proper warehouse location and pulls parts needed for assembly or shipment to customers. Receives goods, verifies the quality, and counts of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers. Checks against suppliers count and immediately report discrepancies to carriers, supervisors, and purchasing officer per company policy.
• Takes a leading role in parts stocking by part numbers,
• Safely load/unload material using a forklift/hand truck,
• Keep track of incoming inventory.
• Receive and organize parts inventory.
• Assist with picking and delivering materials to the correct Assembly station.
• May assist or back up other areas of the Warehouse as needed.
• Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Works under general supervision; typically reports to a lead person or supervisor.

Qualifications:

• At least eighteen (18) years of age,
• Previous experience in a warehouse and operating a forklift is a plus.
• Must be highly organized, self-motivated and have a clean driving record.
