Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage receiving, storage and distribution of supplies across Fergus Falls, Elbow Lake and other Enterprise locations. You will maintain PAR levels, stockrooms organization, and serve as the primary contact for supply needs with strong customer service.

The role is casual part-time (<32 hours biweekly) with hourly pay between $20.03 and $25.64, plus comprehensive benefits. Prior Nursing Assistant experience and hospital distribution knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent degree preferred.
• Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• Two years of experience in hospital products or distribution operations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain PAR levels within stockroom locations throughout the Enterprise including Fergus Falls and Elbow Lake.
• Delivers supplies and patient equipment on an Ad-Hoc base.
• Communicates changes to department lead and other departments as needed.
• Keeps a clean and organized environment within all stockrooms.
• Assists in receiving and inspects items through quality checks.
• Thoroughly inspects stockroom for recalls, outdates, quality checks, and proper PAR levels.
• Assists with maintaining proper system maintenance on inventory levels.
• Makes it a priority to ensure departments are receiving proper supplies when needed while providing superior customer service.
• Assists with maintaining patient chargeable items with the stockroom supply.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for the overall receiving, storage, and distribution of freight procedures within the organization. The Inventory Specialist has frequent contact with the entire organization’s staff members/vendors and must have exceptional customer service skills and always put the customer first. This position is the main contact for the organizations supply and receiving needs.
