Job summary

GE HealthCare in El Paso, TX, is seeking an Inventory Specialist who will maintain accurate inventory records, ensure material availability, and drive inventory control processes across warehouse, logistics, procurement, production, and planning teams.

You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, monitor levels, and support continuous improvement initiatives to boost inventory accuracy and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with policies and EHS requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years relevant experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure transactions are properly recorded.
• Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain high inventory accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability to support business operations.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, procurement, and production teams to address inventory-related issues.
• Analyze inventory data and prepare reports on inventory performance and accuracy.
• Process inventory adjustments, transfers, and reconciliations within ERP systems.
• Identify and support initiatives to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control procedures, and audit requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance inventory management processes and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support internal and external audits.
• Comply with EHS regulations and policies; identify and report any EHS concern and support corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Materials, Supply Chain Management or related OR 2+ years relevant expedrience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Power Point, and Word
