Job summary

Asurion is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage day-to-day operations at our forward stocking locations for in-home client programs.

You will support the Supply Chain Management team with administrative services, ensure inventory accuracy, and collaborate across departments. The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, adherence to protocols, and consistent accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain integration, logistics network and warehouse best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, and team facilitation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support warehouse operations and administrative tasks to meet quality and productivity metrics.
  • Assist teams to ensure timely product movement and disposition.
  • Confirm and support shipping and receiving protocols.
  • Monitor and update applicable software programs as needed.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Troubleshoot office management issues (telephony, computers, printers, facilities).
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Operate in compliance with Federal, State and Local authorities daily.

Job description

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm. Weekend availability is required. $19.80 Per hour + quarterly bonus opportunities

Primary responsibility of Inventory Specialist is to perform the day-to-day operations and administrative responsibilities of the Asurion forward stocking locations for various in-home client programs.

This person serves as an integral part of the Supply Chain Management support team in providing support and ensuring smooth and effective operations and will provide a variety of professional, administrative, and/or clerical services to department and management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Support warehouse operations as well as any administrative tasks to meet quality and productivity metrics supporting overall business needs.
  • Assist teams to ensure timely product movement, availability and disposition according to process.
  • Confirm and support all required shipping and receiving protocols.
  • Monitor and update applicable software programs as needed.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy by researching and performing follow-ups when discrepancies arise.
  • Troubleshoots issues related to office management, including telephony, computers, printers, and facilities.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by department and management.
  • Collaborate pro-actively and successfully across departmental boundaries.
  • On a daily basis operate in compliance with Federal, State and Local authorities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain integration, logistics network and warehouse best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to navigate and root cause opportunities to seek resolution.
  • Strong ability to handle ambiguity and adapts readily and easily to changes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, and team facilitations skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, work independently and set priorities.

Experience/education: 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.

  • Standing and/or sitting for extended and long periods of time, up to 100% of shift or over time.
