Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Vernon Hills, IL is hiring a Sorting Associate to maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse operations. You will receive, sort, and process purchase orders, while keeping a clean and safe workspace.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reliable performance in a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory.
• Familiarity with inventory processes and part identification.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive inventory counts to support warehouse accuracy and replenishment needs.
• Receive and sort inventory items upon arrival, processing associated purchase orders in the system.
• Accurately sort materials into designated sort groups according to FCC, part number, or other product identifiers.
• Break down sort groups and identify individual products using established classification methods.
• Investigate and help resolve inventory variances or discrepancies.
• Perform necessary inventory adjustments in the system based on findings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety standards.
