HD Supply Management, LLC (USA) is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage counts, replenishment, and customer training for inventory programs across the assigned territory. You will travel locally to customer sites to perform audits, coordinate projects, and partner with sales teams to implement inventory solutions that improve accuracy and efficiency.
The role requires field work, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent communication
Must reside in Charloteson, SC or Savannah, GA.
Job Summary Contributes to annual sales and profitability targets by performing inventory audits, replenishment, and customer training for inventory management programs within assigned territory. Performs project management and coordination on inventory projects between internal and external customers.
Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data. Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involved periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process. May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.
Usually located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort, such as dust, fumes, or odors. Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
