Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation in Grapevine, TX seeks a Material Handler II to maintain inventory by labeling and stocking materials, pulling items from pick lists, and delivering supplies within production areas.

You will operate RF equipment, prepare shipments, verify outgoing orders, and help keep the warehouse organized. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for safety and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, receive, sort, and ship component parts and equipment.
• Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
• Assist in unloading process for palletized goods and single carton deliveries.
• Ensure freight has been correctly shipped with all required accompanying documentation.
• Ensure shipment is complete prior to inspection by counting pallets/cartons and verifying against receiving documents.
• Report any damages immediately.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipment meets specifications.
