Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility: efficiently and accurately checking in all grocery vendor deliveries and other categories.
• Observe store rules and company policies.
• Enforce receiving hours according to policy.
• Control flow of vendor traffic through receiving doors.
• Verify invoices include pricing and are correctly extended.
• Flag discrepancies and obtain vendor signature for confirmation.
• Handle damaged/spoiled products per policy and assist in controlling stock loss.
• Post invoices to receiving log and secure signed copies.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, receiving, storage and spill areas.
• Operate bailer, pallet jacks and forklifts per safety policy.
• Ensure compliance with health, weights/measures, liquor and tobacco laws.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
