JACKSON ELECTRIC MEMBERSHIP CORPORATION in Georgia is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support receiving, storage, and distribution of materials for line construction and maintenance. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, forklift certification within six months, and potential interdepartmental transfers.

This entry‑level position emphasizes teamwork, accurate clerical work, and strong communication with field crews and members.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer education beyond high school with accounting emphasis.
• Must obtain CDL Learner's Permit within 6 months and CDL within 1 year.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and obtain forklift certification within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble materials for construction work orders and prepare for issue to line crews.
• Receive and check materials, and prepare receiving reports as required.
• Maintain stock levels and inventory records, and compile reports.
• Unload and transport materials as directed.
• Pack and ship material returned to suppliers due to damage or errors.
• Provide storage for tools and equipment and handle repairs or replacements.
• Communicate essential information to field crews and service personnel.
• Keep storeroom and warehouse spaces clean and organized.
• Monitor deliveries and transmit tickets to the appropriate personnel.
• Participate in inventory spot checks and full counts as required.
