Job summary

Cleaveland/Price Inc. is seeking a warehouse/material handler to receive and verify parts, move materials with forklifts, and ensure accurate inventory records on the shop floor. You will put away parts, track status in our systems, and label items for traceability.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read work orders and labels, and commitment to safety. Prior experience in manufacturing or warehousing is preferred, with forklift certification possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling roles.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Ability to read and verify parts, work orders, labels and tags accurately.
• Basic computer and inventory-tracking skills.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate counts and put-away.
• Good problem solving to address discrepancies or damaged materials.
• Organize and maintain materials to optimize storage space.
• Commitment to safety, OSHA rules and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Receive manufactured and purchased parts.
• Verify part counts, quantities, and condition against work orders and documentation.
• Utilize forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Accurately put away parts into designated inventory locations.
• Use inventory management systems to receive, track, and update material status.
• Create and apply tags/labels for proper part identification and traceability.
• Organize materials on shelving to maximize space and accessibility.
• Maintain clean, safe receiving and storage areas.
• Perform other duties to support material flow and production operations.
