Job summary

Grocery Outlet in Tacoma, WA seeks a Quality Assurance Clerk to audit inventory for store orders and support the Inventory Control Team in correcting inaccuracies. The role reports to the Inventory Control Manager and focuses on ensuring 100% pallet accuracy through audits and corrective actions.

Responsibilities include breaking down outbound freight, recording errors, root-cause analysis, and collaborating with warehouse staff.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, auditing, quality assurance, or related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Make solid decisions quickly based on limited information.
• Ability to interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Intermediate experience with Excel preferred.
• Ability to work independently, as well as with a team.
• Willingness to take ownership over categories and be creative.

Responsibilities

• Break down, audit, and reassemble freight on outbound pallets prior to load dispatch.
• Record and report errors as they are discovered during the audit process.
• Correct any errors found to ensure 100% accuracy on pallets audited.
• Perform root cause analysis on inaccuracies to prevent recurrence.
• Partner with RFC leadership staff and warehouse personnel to address audit results.
• Perform physical count of inventory and reconcile stock to reports.
• Assist with moving outbound pallets and other warehouse inventories as needed.
• Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry and issue resolution.
• May lead, guide, and train other employees, interns, and/or volunteers.
• Operate forklifts in the RFC (order pickers, sit-down, standup, pallet jack).
• Maintain clean and orderly workstations.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
